Wynn Las Vegas Holds Third Annual “Giving Week” Celebration with

Week-Long Volunteer Event Programming, Nov. 30 to Dec. 7

Wynn Las Vegas once again extends the international ‘Giving Tuesday’ initiative with its third annual Giving Week celebration. From Nov. 30 to Dec. 7, 2021, Wynn will host ten fundraising or volunteer events in support of several community partners including Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, Three Square Food Bank, USO Nevada, Project 150 and the Wynn Employee Foundation.

Since 2019, Wynn Las Vegas has celebrated the season of giving with a week-long volunteer and fundraising initiative, Giving Week. events this year include:

USO Nevada Golf Benefit (Nov. 30): All proceeds from Wynn Golf Club players’ fees from the day will be contributed to USO Nevada.
$10k Donation Match for Catholic Charities (Nov. 30): As part of Catholic Charities’ Giving Tuesday fundraising event, Wynn Resorts has pledged to match up to $10k of donations.
Community Meal Serve at Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada (Nov.30): Volunteers will participate in serving hot meals at the Lied Dining Facility.
Pizza Making Master Class (Dec. 1): Wynn employees and their families can attend this special master class led by Executive Chef Enzo Febrerro of Allegro. All proceeds will be donated to the Wynn Employee Foundation Community Grant Fund.
Project 150 Sock Drive Donation (Dec. 1): Following a month-long sock donation drive at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore, all socks collected by Wynn will be sorted and donated to Project 150. Additionally, Wynn will match $1 per pair of socks donated.
Cookie Decorating Master Class (Dec. 2): Led by Pastry Chef Patrice Caillout, Wynn employees and their families can learn tips and tricks for decorating their own holiday cookies in this master class. All proceeds will be donated to the Wynn Employee Foundation Community Grant Fund and matched by Wynn Resorts.
Employee Bake Sale (Dec. 3): Specialty offerings from Wynn’s pastry kitchen will be available for purchase by Wynn employees for this one-day-only sale. All proceeds will be matched by Wynn Resorts and donated to the Wynn Employee Foundation Community Grant Fund.
The Las Vegas Great Santa Run by Opportunity Village (Dec. 4): Wynn Las Vegas will have 100 employee and friends volunteer teams present to participate in one of Opportunity Village’s most important fundraising events – the Great Santa Run.
Wynn Recipe Collection Sale (Dec. 6): For the second year, Wynn’s top culinary talents will compile a book of recipes for readers to recreate at home. Wynn employees can purchase the recipe collections during a one-day-only sale, funds will be matched by Wynn and benefit the Wynn Employee Foundation Community Grant Fund.
Feed the Funnel (Dec. 7): Volunteers will pack 150,000 meals benefiting Three Square, Southern Nevada's only food bank and the area's largest hunger relief organization.

Money raised through employee initiatives will support the Wynn Employee Foundation’s Community Grant Fund. Grants from the fund are employee-driven and designated throughout the year to local nonprofits based on recommendations from the Employee Advisory Council.
